Last week our founder Susan Assadi commented how she enjoyed the annual blind wine tasting for the Global Chamber New York City.  ” I am proud to serve as the Executive Director for 7 years. This has been a banner year for us, and largely thanks to the injection of the NYC selling strategy and acumen infused by my co-partner and advisory board chair Charles Bernard. Together, we have added to our legacy team of advisory board members, including Leon Perera, Manabu Sasaki, and Alicia Iskhakova.

As we welcome a new year of possibilities, on behalf of Global Chamber New York City I extend the warmest wishes for a prosperous, collaborative, and opportunity‑filled 2026.

In a world where cross‑border connection matters more than ever, I remain committed to helping leaders, innovators, and communities expand globally and thrive locally. This year, I look forward to deepening partnerships, elevating global business voices, and creating new pathways for growth across industries and regions.

I got a kick out of explaining to Steven Nicokiris what the oddly shaped olive wood gift I gave him and Marie was.
