Gimme Credit's Vicki Bryan cited here: Which isn’t to say there aren’t problems. A slip in consumer confidence, which has soared since Trump’s election victory, could cause home buyers to reconsider purchasing a new home, Vicki Bryan, senior high-yield analyst at Gimme Credit, wrote in a note to clients last week. Bryan also frets that a crackdown on undocumented immigrants, who make up 30% to 50% of construction workers, could squeeze profit margins if Trump’s plans create a shortage of construction workers.
