Article Hopeful on China, Fearful of a Russian Default (Barron's)
Saturday, Dec. 20th

One of Gitenstein & Assadi PR former clients quoted in this story:

Global economics, with all of its complexity and nuance, is a hard subject to tackle in a short period. Undaunted, Barron’s recently spent an hour interviewing Carl Weinberg, the founder and chief economist of High Frequency Economics in Valhalla, N.Y. Weinberg, who has a knack for making global economics accessible to noneconomists, remains bullish on China, its slowing economic growth notwithstanding. He also sees good investment opportunities north of the U.S. border. On the negative side, the specter of a Russian default scares him, and he doesn’t see many green shoots sprouting in Europe.
